📌Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar
Collection of Heritage Houses (restored) around Luzon by the Engineer Mr. Acuzar.
When I was in Bulacan and talked to the tourist guide Kuya Ronie, he mentioned that Heritage Houses can cost 10M minimum and ang hirap bilhin minsan nito since ang daming kakausapin. The restoration of one heritage house could cost 10x of its value. He then added, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a collection of Restored Heritage Houses by Mr Acuzar himself.
This is the part where my jaw dropped. The property has 60+ Heritage Houses. 🤪🤪🤪
This is the kind of destination na ibang iba ang ganda seeing it personally than in pictures. As a frequent traveller, sanay na ako makakita ng magagandang destinations, but imagine napa NGANGA ako dito. 😁
The place is known to be pricey. Pero siguro compared to international rates mura pa din ito. I am so convinced that this is a go to place for people who wants to know Philippines’ past.
For me, I am lucky to get my room.for only 4500/night. The package includes breakfast, heritage tour and use of amenities. They call my package RAINY DROP SALE + Travel Agent Discount.
Normally my room costs 12,000/night. This is the cheapest they have and it is good for 2 pax. Day tour costs 2500/pax. But I do suggest na mag overnight na kasi masasayangan ka talaga pag Day Tour lang.
So here’s a quick narrative of my DAY 1 here:
We arrived pretty late 5pm na since galing pa kami ng Subic Freeport and may mga business errands pa ako na tinapos before checking in. Las Casas has a huge signage beside the main highway so it is not difficult to locate. Takot na mahal ang food inside (expecting 1k to 2k per food). Kumain na muna kami sa labas 😂😂
Then we head to the resort. Di pa sementado ung daan but it was okay. Mga 5mins drive siguro from Main Highway.
Upon reaching the gate, we were approached by the GUARDIA CIVIL. Nakaka amaze lang kasi sa gate palang ramdam mo na yung Spanish Era feeling. The identification was fast and organized. They knew na ako nalang hinihintay for that day mag checkin. Sabi ni kuya, you are the last but not the least. 😂 Oo na late na kami..
Yung parking ng cars is outside the gate. So drop muna yung mga gamit sa reception then babalik yung car sa parking area.
Upon entering wow nganga talaga ako sa ganda. The place and the crew made me feel that it is 1600s hehe.
I went to the reception to checkin. I just gave my valid id and thats it. They then gave me a map of the vicinity plus a list of the activities I can avail during that day. Ang maganda na part is updated ung list nila. They make it on daily basis. So if there are areas you cannot access nandon lahat sa list. Also the activites na pwede mong gawin.
They gave us also 2 keycards, 2 bfast voucher, 1 jeepney pass (shuttle inside), 2 raincoats complimentary.
Then we were then given SAGO at GULAMAN as welcome drinks.
While waiting for the jeepney, We went to see the property the CASA NEW MANILA perspective. And WOW JUST WOW. Ang yaman ni Acuzar 😂😂😂
When the Jeepney arrived, we embarked at hinatid kami sa room namin. Our room is located at the 3rd floor so walang lift hehe. Umakyat kami di pa uso elevator sa era na yun. Siguro for seniors they will give rooms na nasa bunganga lang.
Opening our abode, lumaki ulit mata ko. The walls, ceiling, fixtures, and bed sobrang on point. They got complimentary matibay na slippers, water, coffee, toileteries. Then I plunged on my bed and it was comfortable. My window has a view of the batis and the canal. Lahat sobrang ganda.
We then decided to tour the place at night as we were advised na mas maganda ang place sa gabi all the lights are lit. So we happily complied. And here are the photos during our quick tour.
We capped the night by having a dinner at the Italian Restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the food was good. Portions were huge. Ambiance is nice too. We then walked and head to the beach just in front of where our room is located. They have these huge swings where pwede kang humiga at mag stargazing which ginawa namin.
Then we head back to our room and call it a day.
All in all quota na ako sa DAY 1 here in Las Casas. But I am sure the place is different in the morning so I am excited to see it too.
